HOW TO ADD THE CHILDREN OF PEACE SIGNATURE IN VISTA’S ‘MAIL’
This is not difficult, just follow the steps.
But if you are a computer novice, maybe
choose the first option.
This is a bit of web code (no graphic images or attachments) to show...
children
ofpeace | Here's a charity that deserves your support, building friendship, trust and reconciliation between Israeli and Palestinian children. Find out more at... www.childrenofpeace.org.uk |
Right-click the hyperlink below, and choose ‘Save target as...’ putting it in a folder,
or preferably on the desktop...
OPTION ONE - EASY BUT MANUAL!
Each time you want to insert the CoP message into an email, just click on the copemailsig.htm
file to open it, select it all with the mouse (with the keyboard... hold down Ctrl
and press ‘A’ then ‘C’). Then click where you want to insert in the email, and click
‘Paste’ (keyboard... Ctrl + ‘V’). If you prefer to have the CoP message as an email
instead of as a file, click signature@childrenofpeace.org.uk to send us a request,
and we’ll reply ASAP.
OPTION TWO - MILDLY TECHIE BUT AUTOMATIC!
If you don’t know about email ’signatures’, they are a way of adding set bits of
text to emails, like your name and address at the end of a message, or any bit of
text that you need to enter regularly.
Now...
- Open Windows Mail.
- Click Tools and then select Options.
- Click the Signatures tab.
- Click New.
- To use the .htm file, select File under Edit Signature.
- Browse to the copemailsig.htm file to use as the signature and open it.
- Click Apply to save the changes. Give this signature a unique name by selecting the
signature under Signatures.
- Click Rename.
- Notice how the signature’s name is highlighted blue. Type the new name of the signature
while it’s highlighted blue.
- Press enter on your keyboard to save the new name.
- Activate Add signatures to all outgoing messages checkbox. If you wish you can Set
as Default the use of this signature. And make sure under the Send tab, HTML is selected
as the Mail Sending Format.
- If you have a problem contact webmaster@childrenofpeace.org.uk and I’ll try and help.
Thanks for telling the world about us,
Robin, Webmaster CoP.
