Thanks to the votes of our worldwide supporters, Children of Peace is now one of
the final 24 charities chosen to participate in the Your Big Year venture organised
by A Smaller Earth.

The competition is designed for worldwide entrants to support and fundraise for their
favourite charity. If you have not yet registered, please do so, in order to stand
a chance of winning this truly life changing prize. If you have, you’ll receive regular
updates as each stage of the competition is reached.

TRUSTEE WITH FUNDRAISING EXPERIENCE
Children of Peace is a growing charity with a positive future. Seven new Trustees
have recently joined the charity and as part of our development plans, we would welcome
applications from potential Trustees with fundraising experience. Trustees have be
approved by the full Board but we welcome interest from dedicated supporters of our
conflict resolution, multi-faith message who wish to be considered for the role of
a Trustee on our Board. If you are interested, please send your CV and your reasons

SECRETARY WANTED
Children of Peace is seeking a first class candidate for the voluntary post of Secretary
to the Board. This is a major post and the successful candidate with become an Officer
of Children of Peace and a full Trustee with voting rights, subject to appointment
and approval of the Board of Trustees. The Secretary will play a pivotal role in
this exciting charity. Candidates with some legal training or background should apply.

MEDIA TRACKING
Children of Peace is an international charity with a worldwide presence from China
to the USA. We are seeking a voluntary specialist in media tracking who can search
the worldwide media and report back on our presence within the MSM. Will suit media
graduate with IT skills in tracking our coverage and with the ability to introduce
newsfeeds, translations and analysis into our networking systems. If you are interested,

STAND UP FOR PEACE
Following our successful Stand Up for Peace gig at the Cockpit Theatre last year,
we are proudly reprising the Event on Thursday July 15th 2010 at the Cockpit again.
Put the date in your diary and be there for a hilarious evening of edgy humour in
support of our great cause. Look out for more details in the next few weeks and book
your seat through our Facebook group pages.
10K LONDON ANNUAL RUN
Every Every year our team of dedicated athletes take part in the 10K London Run in
aid of Children of Peace.
This year the 2010 London Run takes place
on Sunday 11th July 2010.
You can support our runners in a number of ways!
You can be there to support them, greet them or cheer them on!
You can sponsor them by sending a donation to the team or an individual runner. To
