MESSAGE FROM TONY BLAIR March 2008
"I would like to express my support for the principles behind Children of Peace.
I endorse their multi-faith, non partisan efforts to draw attention to the plight
of the children who are often the forgotten victims of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
I applaud their policy of helping to build peace between grassroots groups in Gaza,
the West Bank and Israel through conflict resolution programmes that promote tolerance,
under- standing and reconciliation through arts, education, health and sports projects."

On 11th February 2008 a delegation from Children of Peace met with the Rt Hon Mr
Tony Blair the Representative of the Quartet in London to discuss the work of the
charity. Children of Peace was represented by the charity's Royal Patron, HH The
Begum Aga Khan, Richard Martin the Chairman and Founder, Mr John Gibbons the Chair
of the Financial Advisory Committee and Mr Richard Clifford a Trustee.
The meeting was extremely helpful and productive and Mr Blair expressed his clear
support for our work and has since commented that:
"It was encouraging to know that organisations such as Children of Peace are focusing
on improving the lives of children and working for a better future for them".
